Elopements at the Boston Public Library
Eloping to or in Boston but not sold on City Hall? The lovely people at the Boston Public Library have the ultimate package for you - and we have a special package just for this elopement style. Some couples choose to keep things small and simple, but that doesn’t mean you should skimp on the imagery. In fact, it’s a great way to maintain cost savings without sacrificing quality of your documentation. We offer a rate that’s roughly a fifth of our normal services for this amazing opportunity. But first, let’s discuss what the library gives you!
The venue fee at the library is only $200. And for that you get the following:
One hour of access for a non-denominational wedding ceremony and photos all within the Guastavino Room
Couples are invited to include up to 12 guests, regardless of age, to take part in their ceremony. Your photographer and officiant do not count towards the 12-person guest limit.
Photos permitted within Guastavino Room and exterior of McKim Building & Copley Square. Photo access is not permitted within the building (including outdoor Courtyard).
12 chairs and ceremony décor will be placed specifically for each appointment
BPL will offer this package on select Mondays each month. Ceremonies may be booked within a 90 day booking window, at least 14 days out.
Now - to our package offers. We have two options exclusive to the Boston Public Library Monday elopements, the first is a photography only package and the second is photography and video.
The first package includes 2.5 hours of coverage, with one of those hours being at the Library during your booking time with them. The rest of the time is reserved for portraits. With the library being at the heart of Boston we get so many options to explore for your portrait session. The package includes digital delivery of the photographs and a turnaround time of 7 days. That means you’ll have your photos within a week of your wedding! This package is $1200.
The second package includes everything mentioned above in the photography only, but adds a videographer and video deliverables. Adding video is a fantastic way to not only relive your elopement, but share it with all those people who feel left out of the big day. This way you get to have the intimate ceremony you were hoping for, without actually excluding your loved ones. This package is $2000.
